Following the death of Louis XV, the property was transferred to the Count of Provence, the future Louis XVIII, before being used for various military and institutional purposes during the 19th century.
Acquired in 1937 by the Versailles Chamber of Commerce, then restored and inaugurated in 1939 by President Albert Lebrun, the building now houses the headquarters of the Versailles-Yvelines Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
