Come and see the play "Marius" by the legendary Marcel Pagnol, performed by Jean-Philippe Daguerre and seven actors from the southern branch of his theatre company, "Le Grenier de Babouchka".

The play "Marius" tells the following story:

In the old harbour, Marius helps his father César, a bar owner with a fiery temper, whilst watching Fanny, the shell seller with whom he has been in love since childhood.

Yet Marius’s fate is torn. Whilst his heart beats for Fanny, his soul is irresistibly drawn to the call of the open sea. The arrival of the three-masted ship “Le Malaisie” in the port of Marseille is set to upset this fragile balance. Amidst romantic dilemmas, family ties and dreams of adventure, discover the timeless tale of a man faced with difficult choices. A poignant insight into Provençal culture and the trials and tribulations of youth.
